Elizabeth Delorme-Axford, PhD

  • Postdoctoral Associate

Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose the University of Pittsburgh because of its reputation for excellence in biomedical research, and NIH funding. There are also numerous resources available for student research. The city of Pittsburgh also attracted me.

Following her graduation, Elizabeth was offered a postdoctoral position, which she accepted, in the lab of her mentor, Dr. Carolyn Coyne. She later accepted a position at the University of Michigan as a postdoctoral research associate in the lab of Dr. Daniel Klionsky.
