Coyne Drummond, PhD

  • Postdoctoral Fellow

Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose the University of Pittsburgh because of its excellent reputation in research and funding. The research of many of the faculty at Pitt matched my own interests, and the collaboration among faculty is impressive. Pittsburgh is also a great place to live, with plenty of fun things to do and places to explore.

Following his graduation, Dr. Drummond accepted a postdoctoral position in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh in the lab of Dr. Jim Pipas.
