Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

The University of Pittsburgh along with UPMC offers a wide range of research and clinical opportunities. Given my hope to strike some balance in my career between research and clinical work, the intimate integration of science and medicine here was very appealing.

Following the completion of his Master's thesis, Mark returned to medical school.
